Integrated Management System

The need to increase customer satisfaction both inside and outside the company has driven EURO GEOTECNICA to make a significant investment in quality in the last two years. For this reason, the company has undergone a reorganisation progress based on a Quality Management System governed by the Standard UNE-EN ISO 9001:2000, whose certification it was granted in June 2006, under which a set of joint action guidelines for everyone in the organisation, as well as a renovated and more powerful external image, have been established.

In addition, the company has recently become more aware of society's awareness regarding the conservation and protection of the environment, and has expressed the need to give way to sustainable development for its business. It has therefore put in place an Environmental Management System under Standard UNE-EN ISO 14001:2004, whose certification it gained in July 2007.

In order to ensure that the two management systems mentioned above are merged properly, the company has put together the requirements of both systems in a single Integrated Management System where quality and the environment have the same level of importance.

The company is currently heading towards a more advanced process management model, Total Quality Management, which seeks to create quality awareness in all its organisational processes. An Integrated Management System has been put in place in order to reflect this. Under the said System, the following are considered essential:

  • The concept of ongoing improvement:
The company undertakes to carry out its assignments on the basis of planning, execution, verification and learning in relation to each of its activities.
  • Customer satisfaction:
The company undertakes to measure customer satisfaction and put in place any measures which may be necessary to increase it within its activity.
  • Training of people:
The company undertakes to improve the people within it by providing the necessary training to enable them to carry out the tasks entrusted to them satisfactorily.
  • Prevention of pollution:
The company undertakes to carry out its activities with the least possible negative impact on the environment.
  • Compliance with environmental legal requirements:
The company undertakes to comply with the legal requirements applicable to its activity.
