Auscultation and Instrumentation
Control and safety at the works operation stage is becoming increasingly important, and auscultation and instrumentation play a significant role in this regard. The company is aware of this need and has a department, created over twenty years ago, for the auscultation and instrumentation of civil engineering works and the monitoring of land movements.
The main activities carried out are:
- Slopes and valley slopes:
- Surface movements.
- Deep movements.
- Interstitial pressure.
- Soil settlement and deformability:
- Ground water level control (vibrating wire piezometers).
- Measurement of deep settlement with sliding micrometers, settlement cells and extensiometers.
- Tunnels:
- Convergence measures.
- Measurement of structural deformations.
